Modmarket Voted Best Salad in Boulder

Post on

Modmarket won the Best of Boulder People’s Choice award for the “best salad in Boulder”. Here is text from the article:

“Modmarket is a restaurant company serving farm fresh salads, pizzas, sandwiches and soups. The fare is made from simple, whole ingredients and is healthy delicious and affordable. Their many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free menu options have made them a hit. You can order online, and pickup in the store. One of the founding owners, Anthony Pigliacampo, is excited to have won the award for the best salad in Boulder. “This is our third year in business, and we have improved our food exponentially. Our customers appreciate it. Every ingredient has gotten better; we’ve found better sources. We use more local, seasonal food. For example, we’ve been using Colorado peaches recently in a salad. We use extremely high-quality ingredients, like our Colorado natural, antibiotic free steaks. Our mission is to make salads something people want to eat. We make a salad that is more like an entree, even how we plate the salad is better. He stresses that customers appreciate that”we make everything from scratch, from simple whole ingredients. It is not a like typical fast food kitchen”

This replaces our Peach Orzo dish from last week. Hit up the market this evening and try it out!

Sonic's new 'medium' milkshake

Post on

Just read something interesting. The burger chain Sonic recently decided to add two new milkshake sizes to their menu. They currently offer a 14oz and a 20oz size. They are adding a 10oz and a 32oz size. The CEO said they don’t think they are going to sell many of the 32oz size, however, having that size on the menu will make more people order the 20oz size because they will feel that it is ‘medium’ now. Awesome.
